Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca clinched the Premier League Manager of the Month award for November 2025. The Italian tactician guided his team through an unbeaten run that solidified their top-four push. Maresca’s Blues collected 10 points from four matches, including gritty victories over Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers. This marked his second such honor in the season, following a September win.

Brentford striker Igor Thiago secured the Player of the Month accolade alongside Maresca. The 24-year-old Brazilian dazzled with five goals in four appearances, becoming the first Brentford player to claim the prize. Thiago’s haul propelled the Bees up the table and highlighted his lethal finishing.

Maresca joined Chelsea in the summer of 2024 after leading Leicester City to Championship promotion. He implemented a possession-based style that emphasized fluid attacking movements. In November, Chelsea scored eight goals while conceding just two, showcasing defensive resilience. Maresca credited his staff and players for adapting quickly to his philosophy.

Thiago arrived at Brentford from Club Brugge in 2024 for £30 million. He overcame an early injury to emerge as a key figure under Thomas Frank. November saw Thiago net braces against Newcastle United and Everton, plus singles in other fixtures. His physicality and aerial prowess troubled defenders league-wide.

The awards ceremony recognized their contributions amid a competitive month. Maresca edged out nominees like Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta and Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola. Thiago outshone rivals such as Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
