In July 2025, authorities charged Thomas Partey with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. Those allegations concerned three women and incidents that occurred in 2021 and 2022 during his time at Arsenal. He appeared at Southwark Crown Court in September 2025 and pleaded not guilty to all charges. The court set a trial date for November 2, 2026.
Court Appearance Scheduled for March
Thomas Partey now must appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on March 13, 2026, for the initial hearing on the two new rape counts. The development increased the total accusations against him to involve four women.
Partey Denied All Allegations
Thomas Partey’s lawyer stated that he denied the additional charges. He maintained his not-guilty stance on the earlier counts as well. The Ghanaian international, aged 32, joined Villarreal in August 2025 after his Arsenal contract ended.
